Eagle Claw-Shaped Horizontal Directional Drill Bit — A New Series Is Born

The 29th China International Trenchless Technology Seminar and Exhibition (ITTC 2026) was held from April 22 to 24, 2026 at the Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was jointly guided or organized by a number of domestic and international organizations, including the China Society for Trenchless Technology (CSTT), the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT), the Japan Society for Trenchless Technology (JSTT), the Malaysian Society for Trenchless and Tunnel Technology (MSTTT), the Turkish Society for Infrastructure and Trenchless Technology (TSITT), and the China Hong Kong Society for Trenchless Technology (CHKSTT). This exhibition is an annual event for the trenchless industry, focusing on global cutting-edge trenchless technologies and products. It covers pipeline network construction and rehabilitation across multiple sectors such as municipal engineering and water utilities, and aims to build a platform for exchange and cooperation across the entire industry chain. With an exhibition area of approximately 20,000 square meters, this edition attracted around 100 exhibitors and approximately 10,000 visitors.

This year’s exhibition focused on intelligent automatic control, green and low-carbon solutions, and domestic substitution. It showcased a range of high-end, intelligent, and green trenchless equipment and technologies, including the XZE800 electric-drive directional drilling rig, which features a 35% reduction in fuel consumption, automatic cruise control, and automatic posture recognition. The event also included in-depth discussions on the application prospects of green construction. Jointly guided by CSTT, ISTT, and other international associations, the exhibition demonstrated its international authority and influence. Covering sectors such as municipal engineering and water utilities, and centered on the three core areas of horizontal directional drilling (HDD), pipe jacking, and pipeline rehabilitation and inspection, it provided a platform for full-industry-chain exchange and cooperation. As an annual event for the trenchless industry, the exhibition served as a platform for professional networking. During the exhibition, numerous enterprises showcased their products and concluded business transactions, and representatives from international trenchless associations also visited the equipment displays. The exhibition collectively highlighted the progress in technological innovation and manufacturing within the trenchless sector, reflecting the industry’s trend towards high-end, intelligent, and green development.

At the invitation of the organizers, our company participated in this exhibition and debuted a new series — the Eagle Claw HDD bit. This series fills a gap in our product portfolio within this specialized segment, offers a complete range of specifications, and reaches a maximum outer diameter of 230 mm. The launch of this new series attracted keen attention and a high volume of inquiries from both new and existing customers, and generated an excellent response. Going forward, our company will continue to focus on customer needs and persistently engage in the development of new products to better serve our users.
